Case study
The Experiment LabPASS
Alan Turing interrogation tribute built for a game jam. A live Gemini AI writes the questions, judges how human your answers sound, and presses back on weak replies, racing you to convincingly "pass" before the solstice sun sets.

Story · how this shipped
The brief
Turing-test style games usually script canned dialogue. Building one where an AI genuinely judges believability in real time, with no fixed answer key to game, raised the design and prompt-engineering bar.
The build
Google Gemini both generates enciphered interrogation questions and judges each reply for how convincingly human it sounds, pressing back on weak answers. Ships with an offline fallback (question bank + heuristic judge) so the game is playable with zero API key.
What shipped
Built and shipped for the June Solstice Game Jam. Graceful degrade to offline mode means anyone can play instantly. Demonstrates live LLM-as-judge game design, not scripted branching.
